Customer Terminal Interface (CTi) to Revolutionize Petroleum Company Interactions
Toptech Systems is pleased to announce the release of their newest product, CTi, Customer Terminal interface. CTi was developed in collaboration with one of Toptech’s customers and is designed to offer an industry solution to automate and facilitate the process of terminal customer onboarding and management.
Customer onboarding is a process that, industry-wide, has not been improved in about 20 years. Many companies agree the process to onboard their new terminaling customers is a time-consuming, manual and error prone process. CTi reduces the cycle time to onboard new customers and dramatically improves the communication process between terminaling companies and their customers. The CTi system is comprised of four major features: MasterFile download, automatic notifications, terminal availability, and the document repository.
Yesterday’s onboarding process consisted of mountains of paperwork pushed between the terminal owner and the customer. This paperwork includes terminal agreements and driver and vehicle certifications. MasterFile download takes the onboarding paperwork off terminaling company’s desks and migrates it to an online workflow. The CTi MasterFile download feature is all about eliminating double work, cutting down mistakes, improving customer service, and increasing efficiency. Ultimately, the MasterFile download service will cut down cycle times, reduce labor and nearly eliminate data entry errors that could prevent customers from loading product.
The automatic notifications feature allows the terminal to proactively let their customer know if there is, or will soon be, any condition that would prevent them from loading. This is done through email and/or text messaging and could include messages such as warnings for expiration dates and lockouts. Timely and effective communication of these conditions is paramount for good customer service and will improve the overall efficiency of your facility by reducing the number of denials that occur at the load rack.
The terminal availability feature gives the option of allowing the customer to view information such as wait times, outages, planned outages, and more. The terminal is able to pick and choose what information to communicate.
The document repository allows all certifications and agreements regarding each customer to be attached to their master data record. The repository currently stores 5 years’ worth of documents. This means all relevant loading documents are at your fingertips instead of cluttered file cabinets.
Toptech Systems launched CTi at the 2013 User Conference and it was met with much interest. If you are interested in learning more about how CTi can simplify your onboarding process and improve your customer service, please contact email@example.com.
