As the TSA continues to make progress with respect to the Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential (TWIC), customers can rest assured Toptech is actively developing an integrated solution to address TWIC requirements. Most recently, Toptech successfully completed ICE testing. As such, Toptech’s RCU II and veriFID are listed on the TSA’s official Initial Capability Evaluation List.
Toptech has scheduled enhancements to the following products, which will integrate to provide an end-to-end TWIC compliant access control system:
TMS5/6 – Automation System
TWIC specific enhancements for “driver” registration, access control & TSA hot list polling
RCU II – Card Reader and Data Entry
Reads both TWIC cards and HID proximity cards
veriFID – Fingerprint Reader
Reads TWIC biometric (fingerprint) templates
ACR – Card Reader
Reads both TWIC cards and HID proximity cards
