TDS Organization Realignment

As of April 1, the TDS business unit has been reorganized into the primary Toptech business structure. This change is part of a strategic decision intended to support the long-term vision for TDS. Specifically, the TDS Support Group is now operated within Toptech’s Professional Services Group directed by Bernard Williams. In addition, TDS development is now directed by Steve Wert. As a result, TDS customers can expect a higher level of support, more rapid advancement of TDS enhancements, and more visibility and input into product direction.

Specifically, the following responsibilities have changed:

Steve Wert – Director, Software Technology
TDS Management Responsibility: Product Development and Level 2 Support

Bernard Williams – Director, Professional Services
TDS Management Responsibility: Level 1 Support

Please note, the TDS Support Team remains intact and reports directly to Paul Newman, Manager of Technical Support.

The aforementioned realignment positions TDS to develop in better cadence with other Toptech software products and methodologies. Enhancements such as Enhanced Allocation Control and BOLrecon along with new services such as Key Performance Indicators & Terminal Scheduling are slated for release in the near-term. Customers can expect these releases, coupled with the realignment, will usher in a new era for Toptech Data Services.
