Company Info
Toptech Systems was founded in 1988 by Douglas A. Dunlap and James E. “Jay” Barnhill, the co-developers of the TMS system. In the years since, Toptech has grown from a two-man partnership into the world’s leading supplier of terminal automation and management systems.
In December 2006, Toptech was acquired by the IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX). Now operated within the Liquid Controls Group, a unit of IDEX, Toptech continues to supply innovative terminal automation systems, load rack control equipment, and access control devices to both major and independent companies within the petroleum industry. Some of Toptech’s customers include: Shell, ExxonMobil, BP, and ConocoPhillips. Many of Toptech’s clients, however, are small companies that own either one or two terminals.
Toptech’s corporate headquarters is located in Longwood, Florida, a beautiful suburb of Orlando. European sales and support is handled by Toptech’s European office, based in Antwerp, Belgium.
