Voice of Customer (VOC) Momentum
In 2007, Toptech began to implement more formalized VOC methods in accordance with the Commercial Excellence component of the IDEX Operating Model. To this end, Toptech has hosted several forums since July 2007. The goal of these forums is to continually fine-tune the alignment of Toptech’s offerings to the changing business requirements of our customers.
On March 5, 2008, Toptech hosted the largest VOC session to date. In attendance were nearly 60 customers representing a cross-section of key players in the petroleum industry. Utilizing a topical framework that was developed by pre-solicited customer input, the group discussed key elements of Toptech products, services and business processes. During these discussions, the Toptech user community offered insight regarding approaches to further enhance the way Toptech solutions add value to our their operations. Some of the areas of focus included: enhancements to software release methodology, improved online tools, and streamlined software GUI.
