Toptech offers professional services both in-house, as well specialized design, technical and installation through our network of integration partners.​

From the first contact with Toptech through to support, we follow a proven process to estimate, deliver and support the custom solution for your needs.

Here is an overview of the Toptech process to ensure success:

Business Process Review (BPR)

This meeting, held on-site or remotely with key customer contacts, aims to identify operational and business requirements. It assesses whether these can be met with the standard product, possible work-arounds, or if enhancements are needed.

Project Plan and Functional Acceptance Test Plan (FATP)

Early in the project, our certified PMs collaborate with key customer contacts to develop a timeline addressing critical dependencies and calendar goals. The FATP defines success criteria for system deployment and is often reviewed and completed early in the commissioning process.

Pre-deploy Staging & Testing

Before shipping a new terminal management system, Toptech sets up a managed environment with a hypervisor virtual machine, establishes base configurations, imports customer-prepared data, and tests configurations in a simulated environment.

User Acceptance Test (UAT)

Customers sometimes choose to conduct a formal User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before production go-live. This testing can be done at Toptech’s facility (Factory Acceptance Test, FAT) or a third-party location if an integration partner is involved. It ensures data flows correctly between TMS7 and other systems or devices. Testing criteria are agreed upon early to ensure efficient UAT.

End User Training

Toptech provides training for its software (TMS7, Tophat7) and hardware (Multiload II+). Classes range from high-level overviews to in-depth technical reviews for administrative staff. Training is available on-site or remotely to accommodate different needs and travel challenges. While pre-deployment training is recommended, customers often schedule training for key personnel post-commissioning.

Commissioning Support

Toptech provides experienced technical personnel to assist with system commissioning tasks on-site. This includes reviewing and completing the FATP, conducting tests to ensure field devices are correctly wired and functioning, and setting up data for proper system access by authorized users.
